Water, Electrolytes and Antioxidants
Introduction
This week we will explore the last macronutrient- water, along with start our exploration of micronutrients from a functional perspective.

What you will do
- Week 7 Water and Micronutrients Part 1
- Watch the Lecture Videos: Lecture Video Water and Electrolytes and Lecture Video for Micronutrients I: Antioxidants
- Evaluate the DASH diet
- Scientific Paper Analysis.
In Chapter 7, we look at the nutrients important to fluid and electrolyte balance, including water, sodium, chloride, and potassium.
We also look at sports drinks, caffeinated beverages, and alcohol.
